Tinys easy lunch




I love having my Tiny home for lunch each day during the school year. We eat lunch together and try to make it quick and easy so we can talk about her day.
This is what a typical lunch looks like for me and Tiny. I found these lunch trays at a garage sale and it has made making little ones lunches a bit easier.  When I make Tiny's lunch, I make sure she has many different colors of the rainbow mostly veggies and one or two fruits. Then I give her a smaller protein, healthy grain/carb and good fat. Today she had:

Veggies: cucumber, cauliflower, bell peppers, spinach and a carrot. w a little olive oil and real salt:)
Fruits: Berries and fugi apple
Protein: coconut oil peanut butter (sold at good earth)
Grain: Organic pitas
Oils/fats: guacamole to dip her veggies in
Drink: Water

I also gave her some org seaweed snack. The kids like these and they taste similair to a chip. Give the kids good iodine and salts:)

Meals can be pretty quick and easy for the little ones:)

Almond Rosemary Spread

Almond Rosemary Spread

Soak the following in water overnight:

1 C Org Almonds
1/2 C org pumpkin seeds
1/4 C sunflower seeds

In the morning rinse and put all seeds and nuts into a food processor with the following ingredients:

1/2 C org olive oil;
1 tsp real or sea salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 C water
1/2 tsp ground rosemary or fresh:)

Blend in processor until smooth like butter.

Use spread for a veggie dip, a spread on a wrap or for a cheese on a raw pizza.

Sat Nam, What?



What does Sat Nam mean? Well, yes I am a mom hence Moma at the end. Sat Nam is sanskrit word used in a Kundalini yoga mantra or chant that is usually done at the end of a class. The reason this particular mantra rang in me is because I love its meaning. Sat means "TRUE or Truth" and Nam means "Name"...so together it means "True Self" or my name/identitiy is "Truth".  As long as I have lived I have quickly picked up or discerned when things or people feel a bit off or if they felt clear, genuine,pure or true. With any message or advice I have learned from others,from experience or living I hope to deliver or pass on only things I feel are right,pure or true. As you are embarking on your own personal learning experience or journey in life, I encourage all I meet to not just take advice but to pray, discern and think for themselves if it is right, pure or true for you. You will not fail if you follow this pattern first. I believe we are not ultimately in charge or in control of our life but when you acknowledge you can be led by a higher source first, that is when your life unfolds as it should.

Good Morning!!!


  I think its important to create order and creating an order in the morning has really helped me set the rest of the day on a good start to keep and stay focused. Here is an example of how my mornings go as far as having an order in taking care of my physical, spiritual and emotional health go something like:

1. Morning Prayer..connect with your Maker, or meditate.
2. Look up passage of scripture,quote or ponder on some positive affirmations to keep my emotional body centered and my intention for my day set. Also a brief look at the order of my days events with my kidlets:) Three deep breathes,rinse face with cool water and neti pot salts sinus rinse...got to love my tiny sinuses.
3. quart of good water with a bit of 4 salts, greens, a dash of tumeric and a lemon 
4. At this point I take any supplements I need that don't require food.
5. Drink 8 oz. of green juice
6. Yoga,walk or dance..good to take a Relyte to replenish salts lost in excercise
7. Breathe
8. Make a good clean breakfast based on what my body is asking for..I encourage you to start listening to your body. I usually want a good green shake or warm buckwheat cereal w some soaked nuts and seeds and berries. I take the rest of my supplements that are better with food ie. opti oils,krill oil,multi v etc.
9. Get cleaned up. I like to use a loofah to increase circulation and polish skin...Along with pH phresh and clean body wash. If I need more hydration...coconut oil,or Soph Skin is great after your shower or bath. If I bath I love to use the clay and salts with an essential oil. Dress my temple (body:) with respect and gratitude for the gift it is...and on with my kidlets and on with our Day!

Of course All our lives are busy and different, and ad midst this routine, I have to balance taking care of my kidlets...but on days I can, this is my morning routine. Good luck creating yours!
